"Running on the Dogwalk"

Tech notes: The agility area at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club in Minneapolis, MN is dark. It is hard to stop the action of running dogs in the available light. I like to practice catching peak action in the dark.

Shutter Speed 1/125 sec
F-Stop f/4.0
ISO 3200
Focal Length 280.0 mm (70 - 200 mm with a 1.4 extender)

Yes. And hand held. I was sitting in bleacher and shooting between the heads of the crowd. It was not an ideal situation.

I would have liked to be in a camp or stadium chair that has the seat on the ground but a back rest? I have always called them basketball chairs because I sit in one when I shoot pro basketball games.

Anyway ideal would have be me sitting somewhere out on the course where I could see two or three different areas with a long lens and a monopod.

And hand holding a long lens in the dark at a shutter speed of 125 is foolish. If I was shooting for pay, I would have done it a little differently.
